My Story

I know firsthand how stressful this process can be. When I tried buying my first house, all I wanted was information, connection, and commitment to the success of my loan. What I received? Crickets… and eventually a worn-out sense of disappointment in my loan officer.

Buying a home should not be a stressful process, and my experience set me on a path to change that. Unlike click-of-a-button process, I believe in providing engaging and personalized services for every aspiring homeowner, and solving problems alongside my clients every step of the way. The driving force for me in this business is making the process of securing a family’s home easy and enjoyable.

Stepping into these decisions involve many moving parts.

  • The lowest interest rate doesn’t always translate into the best long term financial decision. It shouldn’t be like buying a new vacuum: finding one with all the fancy gadgets at the best price point. Don’t treat your loan like a commodity - this is a human interaction.

  • Paying off your debt and declaring you’re ready for action could create unintended consequences. Interest rates and compliance regulations change a mile a minute, and proper guidance is a must to help navigate a successful outcome.

  • Independent research only takes you so far: a seasoned loan officer is trained to walk alongside you through this process.

  • You shouldn’t assume every mortgage loan is the same.

My goal is to equip you with confidence in this big decision, earning your trust as the mortgage loan officer who helped you achieve your goal of buying a home.

Since my earliest memories of competitive gymnastics, growing up in a military family, and becoming a mom, I draw energy from people-driven challenges, solved through determination and a keen attention to detail.

The resilience I have used for decades to build my business into the Top 1% of my industry is the same resilience I invest in my clients, as we work together to secure them a new home. I believe in the parallel power of hard work and a caring spirit to set my clients up for success - leaving them better off than where they began.

Based in Arlington, VA, I spend my weekends gardening, reading, exercising and learning about Virginia history (and, I’m a dangerous board game player). I serve clients in Virginia, DC, and Maryland.

  2. After learning more about you, I’ll walk you through instructions for submitting your loan application and supporting documents.

  3. From there, we’ll hit the ground running, and keep going until you’re raving about the best home buying or refinancing experience you could imagine.

I am Leslie’s Loan Partner and my role is to assist you along with Leslie on the front end of the loan process. This includes walking you through the completion of your initial loan disclosures as well as  gathering and analyzing your supporting documents to ensure a smooth and efficient experience. I have worked in the mortgage industry for the last three years as a loan originator, so many of the questions you have about the process I will be able to answer. The best part of my job is knowing that I helped make what can be a frustrating and tedious experience, easy and even enjoyable! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends/family, playing guitar, cooking or watching a good movie.

After a ratified sales contract is received and you and Leslie determine your mortgage strategy, I will be actively involved in keeping all parties informed of the loan progress throughout the transaction and up to the closing.  I have many years of experience in managing loans through each step of the process, and I focus my time on communicating directly with you to ensure a smooth and on-time closing. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing golf, and rooting for DC sports teams.
